Past- The moment that represents my past is when my parents got a divorce. When they first told me I was very angry at them and did not understand why it was necessary. I didn't want to go through the change because I was used to them being together for most of my life. After it happened, I was really uncomfortable because my dad moved out and I lived with my mom and brother and it did not feel the same. However, what I originally thought of as a negative change turned into a positive change. I never really got along with my mom so I ended up moving in with my dad who I got along with. Although it was difficult to adjust, I am happy I did because I now have a better relationship with my mom and it taught me that change is sometimes a good thing.

Present- The moment that represents college for me would have to be the first week. I chose the first week because I was nervous and scared since it was a new environment with new people I wasn't used to. In high school, I was used to walking down the halls and everyone knowing my name and my background but it is not like that here so it felt strange to me. The first week, me and my roommate struggled to meet people and did not realize what we were doing wrong because we saw so many people interacting and having fun even though they barely knew each other. I think that the first week watching other people interact helped me to branch out more and interact with others and make friends on my own because in high school, I never really had to work to make friends because I had them my whole life.

Future- The moment that will represent my future is having my first child. I knew ever since I was little that I wanted to have a baby of my own because I love children. I think being pregnant is going to be one of the most stressful and scary moments in my life because you have to carry the child around for nine months. It is such a big responsibility and I know I will be worried about my baby's health before every check-up. The moment I am in the delivery room is going to be the most exciting moment of my life because I will finally get to meet me child I waited my whole life to have. I can't wait to see what it looks like and for all my hard work to pay off. There is nothing more satisfying to a mother than knowing that she created the baby in front of her after delivery. Once I have a baby, I am going to be so happy and my future will be a lot brighter because I will be able to look forward to watching my child grow up (in a way).
